The NanoCarbon Network is an open network for the development of marketable nanocarbon products.
The network was funded until May 2016 within the framework of the ZIM funding programme of the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology (BMWi) in Germany, and is continued from June 2016 in a service-based way. The network focuses on supporting the technology transfer from science to industry. The Network NanoCarbon was founded in May 2013 and consists primarily of small and medium-sized enterprises from within and without Germany and scientific institutes but also of large companies that are active in the field of nanocarbons.
The network's objective is to support the implementation of the results of research and development in the field of nanocarbon materials into innovative applications and products. Through close technological cooperation between partners along various value-added chains, the plan is to enable partners to establish new applications and products for nanocarbons on the market and to support their commercialisation.
